Thank you everyone for your prayers, encouragement, support and inspiring words. Your love and thirst for God has kept our team and the community pressing in and pressing on for the glory of God.

God has heard his children’s cries and answered our prayers. Your prayers are powerful and in God all is possible for those who believe.

Novena To the Holy Spirit for the Seven Gifts

The Pentecost retreat is only two weeks away. Just as the apostles and prophets purified themselves before the Lord, so too must we must prepare ourselves to receive the graces of the Holy Spirit.

The Novena of the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirits is a powerful Novena. We encourage you to pray this with us as a family every day until Pentecost, so that together, we may pray for each other and open our hearts to God while inviting His powerful presence in our lives.

Pentecost Retreat – Holy Spirit Crusade

Miraculous Retreat With St Bakhita Sudanese Community

Last Sunday, our Awaken community ran a one day retreat for the St Bakhita Sudanese Community at the request of Fr Stephen Kumyangi, Chaplain. The two communities (Sudanese and Awaken) came together to worship and praise our Lord, in what was a powerful and successful retreat. Approximately 130 people attended the retreat.

We all felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and His love for us, as one person ex- pressed, “I was absolutely touched by the love of God which has utterly changed the way I see myself and others.” We were all touched and renewed by the retreat in a powerful way. So many people received graces and heal- ings. We are so blessed to have Awaken in our Parish. Here are some of the testimonies from our participants:

“I felt the Lord telling me to leave my worries behind and he will take care of everything. I felt the spirit in me. I feel like singing & praising Him today forever.”

“The Lord touched me through Steffanie’s words. I’m so blessed and grateful for this community Awaken. It’s a blessing to everyone.”
